P.A. Peterson Center for Health offers pastoral care to people of all faiths. Worship services are held on Sunday morning in the Atrium and on Sunday afternoon in Bergmark Villa by our chaplain. Services are also held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings by visiting clergy. Praise -- Bible studies and hymn-sings -- are held Wednesday mornings in Bergmark Villa and at 3 p.m. in our Day Room on Garden Hills.
Dr. Charles Olson is the full-time chaplain of P.A. Peterson Center for Health. He is a pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and is a certified clinical marriage and family therapist. He is available on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Volunteer Barnabas Ministers also offer pastoral care. These are men, women and children from the community who have completed specialized training to care for residents of P.A. Peterson. They have a simple mission: to encourage through listening. They are available on request.
For more information about pastoral care services, contact Chaplain Olson at extension 4142.
