Will Medicare pay for my stay at P.A. Peterson Center for Health?

Medicare pays for very few people who are in nursing facilities. Medicare will pay for the first 20 days at 100 percent if certain criteria is met:

  1. The beneficiary is being admitted to a nursing facility (Medicare-certified bed) within 30 days of being hospitalized for at least three consecutive days and;

  2. The person requires the services of a skilled professional daily. Medicare will continue to pay for days 21-100 as long as the above criteria continues to be met. In addition, there will be a daily co-payment that you will be responsible for, or you may use supplemental insurance to pay for this amount.
